This pic is from three weekends ago now... Day 1 of our group's (Moses, Kev, B-ral, and I) East Side tour... we decided to "warm up" on the Matterhorn... not realizing that 1/2 a foot of snow had fallen in the area. The original, ambitious plan was to do Mt. Tom on Day 2... with an alpine start. This is a pic of a N. Lake couple who broke trail for us except for the top 200 feet or so... w/o their tracks we probably would not have made it up to the notch... thanx Arlo & Amber!
