Went on a side excursion to Jigokudani to see the Snow Monkeys... famous for bathing in the onsens.... This is also part 1/3 of the Japan "tamed wildlife tour"... Monkeys.

| Turns out they don't really get in the onsen unless it is cloudy and cold. When it is sunny (like it was when we went), they prefer getting some sun. They come down here because of they feed them periodically. That's what I mean by "tamed" wildlife... |
