- How to build a pulk - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAcaN5hgqoQ - this cabin lends itself to a pulk quite nicely. The road in is usually groomed, then the last 2 miles could be tough, but usually packed out from previous parties. The gain over 4 miles is only 600 or so feet.

Notes:
- Skin in is 4 miles, and takes 1:45 - 2:30. - https://www.strava.com/activities/6514837309
- Cooking on the woodfired stove is nice. And it maybe out of wood towards the end of the season.
- Make a designated pee area (and clear out a path to is so you can walk out there in booties)/snow collecting area
- Bring mouse traps
- Ear Plugs are mandatory
- Melting snow...
- You get decent service there on Verizon, just outside the hut and especially on the ridges.
- Mt Bailey is a real mtn. If you want to get to the top, some of the time you may need to bring your mountaineering gear (ice axe, crampons, ski crampons).
- Set a nice skin track up the N. face off the ridge into Avy Bowl on day 1, so you can lap it and get back on the ridge quickly.
- Trees on the other face into Avy Bowl is pretty fun too.
- Lots of options on the NE face, just might have to boot back up.
- The PORTAL is a mandatory visit.
