I like looking back at my year and noticing patterns or changes from previous years. This year, I focused a lot more on trail running, now that Sam and Seth have really upped their text messaging game, it makes it easier/harder to say no for me to go out on more runs. But I did finish my first 1000k, and was riding quite a bit to train for that, so I wasn't slacking on my riding either.... it just wasn't as consistent this year as previous years.
Some corrections, and notes:
- My max ride distance was 625 miles (on my 1000k). But I had to stop my Garmin a few times... so that doesn't show. That was aslo the biggest Max Ride Elevation... with 38K.
- 250K of the total elevation comes from Alpine Ski (riding lifts)... so don't be too impressed, as those were lift powered.
- My running races aren't on there... the Broken Arrow 50k, Stinson Beach 30k... so my max run distance and max run elevation ... and max run time probably came from Broken Arrow... maybe I'll get a Suunto one of these days.
- Rode a bit less than 2016 (3800 vs 3500), but I put in a LOT more miles running. More than doubling my 2016 distance (842 vs 340).
